Homeowners Insurance
What is Homeowner’s Insurance?
A standard home insurance policy insures your home’s structure and your belongings in the event of a destructive event, such as a fire.
Most home insurance policies are generally “package policies” which means that the coverage includes not only damage to your property, but also your liability, for any injuries and property damage to others caused by you or members of your family.
What is NOT covered by a standard Homeowner’s Policy?
While home insurance covers many types of disaster related damage, there are exceptions, for example, flood and earthquake insurance are both separate policies which may be determined if they are needed depending on where you live.
